*For calculating dues, working owners, spouses and managers are considered employees. Two part time employees equal one Full time employee based on an annual average.
The IRS requires that Chambers of Commerce inform their members of the portion of membership dues that are not deductible as a reasonable business expense. Since the Marysville Chamber of Commerce did not have any income during 2005 that was considered "unrelated business expense", all of your fees are deductible as a reasonable business expense.
